James Waghorn, one of the Marketing Managers at Canterbury College visited Auckland last week for a day, to do some networking with other agents.
He met with Korean and Japanese agents. He also talked with another school that we could possibly work with in the future!! He also found out more information on the NZdip course that could be running here at our college, so keep your eyes peeled for thath if you are interested in Buisness School!!
Here is what James had to say about his visit:
” It was very interesting, I enjoyed meeting all the new people”

* The Auckland metropolitan area, in the North Island of New Zealand, is the largest and most populous urban area in the country with a population approaching 1.4 million residents, 31 percent of the country’s population.
* Demographic trends indicate that it will continue to grow faster than the rest of the country. Increasingly cosmopolitan, Auckland also has the largest Polynesian population of any city in the world, and has seen many people of Asian ethnicity move there in the last two decades.
* Between 1842 and 1865, Auckland was the capital city of New Zealand. Parliament met in what is now Old Government House on the University of Auckland’s City campus. The capital was moved to Wellington in 1865.
